Herm is Cooking For Now

Despite even his own efforts the Herman Cain presidential campaign is still rolling. With past accusations of sexual harassment and a total lack of knowledge of Foreign Policy the pizza man from Georgia as still remained one of the top Republican candidates for president. Some people are starting to think that he has a serious chance winning the Republican nomination. This has some voters excited and others scared to death. I will either ease your fears or disappoint you when I say that its not going to happen.

Please do not get fooled by these polls that you see on the news. These polls are sent out to people who may or may not even be Republicans and they also may not even vote. We have a long primary ahead of us and the 24 hour news networks have to try to make this interesting to a mass public that is more interest in Housewife reality shows then politics. People love animated characters that give comedic sound bites. People like Cain, Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann feeds this need. Where lets say a Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman do not.

The cycle of front runners changing is definitely not over. If we have not learned anything from recent years elections and polls that it doesn't matter until people start actually casting the ballots. At this time in 1991 Bill Clinton was polling 4th in the Democrat Primary behind leader Jerry Brown. Do any of you know who Jerry Brown is without googling him? Probably not. Our current President Barack Obama was 20 points behind Hilary Clinton the polls at this time.

Reasons He will not get The Votes

1. His foreign policy sucks- Its cute to fail basic foreign policy questions in interviews but not cool for a president. What he think is funny could embarrass a country on international scale. He actually asked Henry Kissinger to be his secretary of State which would been an excellent choice 30 years ago.

2. Sexual Harassment Charges- It hasn't hurt him the polls but when ballots are actually cast do not think this will not factor in. Women are not kind to men who are believed to mistreat them. A dirty secret is that most women will experience this in their life and is a very person issue to them.

3. He can't Defend 999 -You can not have a signature plan that your entire campaign is based on that you can not defend. He has failed to accurately explain if the plan can realistically work.


So for now lets just let Herm continue to cook in these never ending GOP debates. He will not be president any time soon. Realistically he will have an evening show on Fox News or some syndicated radio show again but he won't be living in the white house.

I Blame Obama Too

The popular thing to do these days is to blame the President for your problems. You may think that this is because the president is a black man or because Democrats are unreasonable but its neither. All Presidents since the good old George Washington. Sometimes its fair and most of the time its not because the President doesn't even have control over most of the stuff the general public complains about.

Now I could turn this into a political science lesson but that's too hard and you don't want to hear it. So like the old saying goes "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". So I will blame the president for things that I do not like either.

The Things Obama Needs to Handle

Where is The Boondocks

I am not sure if there is or not going to be a 4th season of the Boondocks. I am also very disturbed that the White House has not publicly taken on this issue. The night time cartoon entertainment of America is a serious issue. If he has to give Aaron McGruder a tax break or threaten the Cartoon Network, somebody needs to handle this.

My Student Loans

Yes you heard it right, President Obama needs to do something about my student loans. I know they were not incurred during his presidency but this is federal debt and he is in charge of the federal government. Relieving me of this enormous debt that has not resulted in a job of my major would be the right thing to do. Since his economy is not allowing me to get a better job making a six figure salary. If I did not have to make these payments then I could use the money to help stimulate this economy and create a job or 2.

We Still Have Not Found Biggie and Tupac's Killers

Yes I went there but hear me out. The President is over the Attorney General who is America's top law enforcement officer. We can not have killers of talented African Americans running around unchecked. But this just further illustrates that President does not care enough about the black community.

Dumb People Having Jobs

In this tight economy there is no reason why stupid people are taking jobs that intelligent people could have. I encountered too many people in different places that such at their job because they are not smart. They can not handle basic instructions and screw things up for everyone. They are costing their prospective employers money and wasting my time. Why is there no legislation for the cashiers at Wal Mart be forced to take math test.

Those are my complaints for now but I am sure Mr Obama will ruin my life and yours some more. Well maybe not but why should I or others have to be responsible for our personal issues...

New Direction for The Same Stuff

This post is basically to announce that this blog is changing. Basically I will still talk about politics, history and current events but there will be a more satirical look at life. I am sure that I will have to explain this more than once as after this post. Because you may not get the satire and think that I am dead serious. So sit back and enjoy the ride and laugh a little. I am Done with you Dumb People

I have taken a long break from this blog but I am back but a little broken. I have lost a lot of faith in the collective intelligence of this country. If I have already lost you then you are part of the problem. In our current climate of politics, I have seen that a large portion of the American people have not clue. This crosses all political parties, racial groups and economic statuses. There were times that I felt like there was a large population of people who just not exposed to the proper information. Now I understand that you have it but you still can not figure it out.

During this wonderful debt ceiling debate I learned that many of you have no clue at all. Both the far left and far right can easily be influenced to anything. The fact that some of you all have a vote scares me to death. There are more problems out there that are disturbing me but hey let me just give you some of the examples.

Bachmann as a responsible Presidential Option

Now this one is partially my fault because in a previous post I said I would give her a chance. Well that is over and done with. She is not as stupid as everyone thought initially but instead she is something much worse. Miss Michele is bat-shit insane. I love how when she gets attacked its because she is a woman(well played Michele). Reality is that anyone who actually thinks that it would have a good idea to not raise the debt ceiling and possibly default on our loan obligations should not even a have a real job of consequence. The fact that she tries to rewrite history and remembers our slave owning founding fathers as soldiers of equality. Lets just hope that the Iowa straw polls results are only a reflection of the politics of conservative voters in rural mid America not the view of people who actually been to high school.

So You Support the Self Serving Tour

Just in case you haven't heard Tavis Smiley and Dr Cornel West have embarked on a tour to end poverty. In that tour they aim a lot of criticism at President Obama. Is the President beyond being criticized, the answer is of course not. But the critique should come from a good place and it should acknowledge the good work that has been done. To say the president doesn't care about poor people or poor blacks specifically would be irresponsible. Despite the push of the healthcare bill and advocating for the extension of unemployment benefits Dr West has made no bones about calling a “Black mascot” for “Wall Street oligarchs.” What this really is the sour grapes tour because Tavis hates that the President didn't get the memo that he was some kind of black leader. West wants to remain relevant in the consciousness of America also and hey wouldn't the defacto black leader be the black president. The fact is that a lot you all don't see this obvious conflict going on here and don't understand that the President has to answer to the entire country not just the black voters.

First of the 12% percent of the population that we represent only helped to get the president elected. We did not do it all by ourselves. Secondly when he ran for president he pretty much ran a moderate. He said he would listen and compromise on different issues. Lastly can any of you tell me the black agenda because I have not gotten a memo lately. Because if its jobs, the economy or the housing situation then we and all other races have the same issues.

Debt Ceiling and Economy Truth Sucks

This week there has been a lot of debates between Democrats and Republicans about the debt ceiling. There are fights about how to move forward and really get the budget balanced and the economy going. I have been hearing people on television talk shows debating about which party has the right answer. With unemployment near 10%, Americans are concerned with how the government will create jobs. Here is the dirty secret that will hurt everyone's feelings. Neither party has absolutely no clue on how to get this economy going. If they really knew they would have done it already.

Democrats want you to think that the answer to the problem is increasing the tax rate on wealthy Americans. Well if they are referring to ending the Bush era tax cuts then yes it would help lower the deficit. The reason is because the Bush tax cuts are not just for the wealthy but for everyone.

Republicans want to argue that raising taxes would be a job killer. Despite these tax cuts being in effect jobs have been lost every year at a steady rate since 2006. Just think about this when has any of you been let go from a job and the companies reasoning was related to a tax increase.

The last time the federal deficit was in order the president and congress at the time raised taxes and cut spending. Neither party wants to do both and can't agree on one or the other. They are pandering to their special interest and fighting to impress donors for the 2012 election cycle. The reason they throw the economy and unemployment in this mix is because that is what relates to the average voter.

Here is the truth, the economy will eventually get better but we don't when that will be. Roosevelt had World War II to get him out of the depression and Clinton had the boom of the internet to propel his economics. Obama currently has nothing on the horizon and due to failed policies of previous years and selling out various special interest groups we don't have anything.

It is Not as Bad as You Think

I know its tough out there right now but it is not as bad as you think. We are not in danger of a 1930's great depression with people standing outside in soup lines. It is a slow process but the economy is actually getting better. The economy moves in cycles and it goes up and down. It today's super connected world with 24 cable news networks and constant internet news coming in it makes things seem worse than it may really be sometimes.

The unemployment rate has actually dropped from its high in 2009 of 10.1% to the current 9.2%. When President Obama took office in January of 2009 Dow industrial average was at around 8077 where today it is at 12,446. Which means the value of stocks are going up which usually means that companies are making money.

News organizations and politicians like to manipulate how you feel about these subjects to push their agenda. What you have to do is decipher the real from the fake and evaluate the information for yourself.

Republicans Rally The Bigot Base (Damn Michelle)

Just when I thought Michelle Bachmann was not that bad or not stupid she goes off and signs her name to stupidity. She signed a pledge that a conservative advocacy group in Iowa that can be seen as pretty racist and homophobic. The pledge, titled “The Marriage Vow: A Declaration of Dependence Upon Marriage and Family,” was introduced by a group called "The Family Leader. The group is led by Bob Vander Plaats, an Evangelical Christian leader in Iowa.

The group has asked every 2012 GOP presidential hopeful to sign this pledge. The only other candidate so far who has also put ink to paper is Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.)
The pledge asks the candidates to vow that they will be faithful to their spouses and to the U.S. Constitution. Which is not the offensive and is actually understandable. Even though if the person wins he or would actually take an oath of office that will require them to pledge their allegiance to the constitution.

Now for the controversial and overly judgmental stuff. The pledge also outlaws “quickie divorce,” pornography, cohabitation and Islamic sharia law. It also says that homosexuality is a choice rather than a biological trait and that black children were better off during slavery then under the Obama administration. The document also warns that marriage is in crisis in our society and that homosexuality may have a negative impact on public health in America.

Felt that I needed to break all of this crazy down
1. No one should be overly concerned with their presidential candidates personal life views. Their views on porn, cohabitation or them having a quickie divorce does not effect their ability to govern. The questions should be "Can you balance a budget?" or "What's your foreign policy agenda?". Whether or not an unmarried couple that consist of consenting adults are living together is not the governments concerned.

2. We will never ever, ever live under Islamic sharia law under any circumstances. The perceived threat is just another political scare tactic. In the United States we have something called a constitution that would never allow such a thing.

3. The idea that homosexuality is choice and poses some kind of public health risk lets me know that they are not using any facts. First of all until there is any scientific evidence that a person's sexuality is chosen then you can not say it as a statement of fact. Secondly homosexuality poses no health risk to anyone. If you are thinking about HIV/AIDS then I just know that you are incredibly ignorant. A person's health as it relates to their sexuality only has to do with their behavior not their orientation. Anyone who is having unprotected sex and using dirty needles would be the ones that are dangerous to the health of other Americans.

4. Now I had to work up to my last point because I needed to be fully prepared to address the dumbest portion of this document. The idea that blacks were better off during slavery than under the Obama administration. The crazy thing is that this point was defended when controversy arise regarding the statement. According to the group blacks were more likely to be born into stable two parent homes during slavery. Where as now most black children are born into single parent homes.

This quite possibly maybe the dumbest thing that I have ever heard. Let me give Mrs Bachmann and others a short history lesson. A lot of those married black families killed their children at birth to avoid them having to live in slavery. If you think that anything that happens in today's society in the African American community even is remotely worse than slavery is insensitive and ridiculous. Nothing compares to being forced to work for free and being beaten everyday. Nothing compares to being labeled as property and having no rights as a human being. These children may have had both parents for a little while could be sold away from that loving family to never see them again. I could keep going into the horrors of slavery (which actually could get alot worse) but I think you get the point.

Bachmann, Santorum and the advocacy group have backed off the slavery portion of the pledge. These candidates are using short sighted politics and attempt to make a big impression in the Iowa caucus. These are two candidates who are serious threats to win the nomination but not electable candidates in the general election. They better say away from the bigot base.

Crazy that is going on this week 7/4

Do You Want Fries with Your Colt 45

Your next fast food purchase could cause you to have to show some identification. In trying to boost profits Sonic has decided to let two of their South Florida restaurants to sell beer and wine. This has also been done by Burger King who has Whopper Bar locations in 3 different cities.

I have seen where people are citing America's convenient excuse that the economy is bad. These restaurants are just trying to find innovative ways to create new revenue streams. I am pretty sure that fast food companies are not hurting this hard for money. According to Ron Paul president at Technomic, a restaurant consulting firm. "For consumers, it's basically about having it your way — even if it's having a beer with your burger."

It just seems like that this would kind of dangerous and especially at a Sonic establishment. Mostly only serves customers in their cars. Which means that people will get food that they are buying because they can consume it quickly and on the go will be doing the same thing with alcohol. I like to drink like a lot of other people but I just don't believe that this is safe.

Robbing and Freaking

Out in Hillsboro, Missouri, a couple who was allegedly robbing a person's garage they decided to have sex with each other. I guess the excitement of a robbery turns some people on.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said the man and a woman were in the process of burglarizing the garage on Glade Chapel Road, in Hillsboro, when they decided to have sex. During the encounter the woman decided to pepper spray her criminal love interest. Not sure if the sex was that bad or she wanted all the goods for herself. She then took the car of the robbery victim and drove the car in a pond.

The robbery victim woke up and saw the man leaving the garage with a bag. The man was caught by police wear just a raincoat and had a bag of goods in his hand. Jail time and pepper spray is not a good way to end the day.

I Could be Softening on Michelle Bachmann

This week Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann officially announced her candidacy for President of The United States. I actually think that she would be a good addition to the race. In a previous blog I called her a Sarah Palin mini me and I was wrong. She is much more of a capable candidate than Palin and would make a good competitor for President Obama. Don't get me wrong I want President Obama to be reelected but I think it would be nice for him to run against someone who will create productive discussions.

Michelle Bachmann may be just as qualified as a candidate as President Obama was in 2008. She is a lawyer by trade and served as a State Senator prior to serving in congress (sound familiar). She has a post doctorate degree in Tax law and worked for the IRS as an attorney. Which tells me that she knows tax law and may have an understanding on how to handle our crazy tax situation in this country.

I don't agree with a lot of her political views but she appears to practice what she preaches. She is a strong pro life supporter and has five children and raised 23 foster children. That at least means she believes in the value of life and is willing to get involved.

She has had some a gaffe on how she remembered history but she is not a historian. Her mistake is something that will happen all politicians from time to time. Presidents Obama and Bush have both said something that historically inaccurate before.

I guess I am officially giving her a chance since she is officially running.

I am Not That Mad at Halperin

Today MSNBC has suspended political analyst and Time magazine Editor at Large Mark Halperin indefinitely over something he said about President Obama on air. Not really to defend Mr. Halperin but think that an indefinite suspension is pretty much overreacting.

When appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, Halperin was asked how he felt about the President's press conference Wednesday. He then ask "Are we on the seven-second delay?" Then after getting the green light that he did he responded with "I thought he was a dick yesterday." Now that I do agree that it was inappropriate for morning cable news, I don't think that it calls for a suspension. In our hyper politically correct society I think this a classic case of media overreaction. I have seen his comment referred to as vulgar and vile. I guess I am not that offended.
It wasn't racist, homophobic or promoting violence against the president. He was speaking his mind and maybe went a little too far.

MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines issued this statement,"Mark Halperin's comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable.We apologize to the President, the White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air."

I don't think that MSNBC is that offened because they let the clip play on the Hulu website. They do not edit the clip at all and allow you to hear the word in its entirety. NBC owns both MSNBC and the Hulu site and they made no changes.

No whats crazy is that Co-anchor Joe Scarborough says "We have it. We can use it. Go for it. Let's see what happens." Then you see the cameras flashing to the control room. Now I wonder why good old Joe who encouraged this then acted shocked afterwards is not being suspended. Probably because he is the big money show host and did not actually say the remark he is safe.

Halperin's other employer Time Magazine issued a statement saying that "Mark Halperin's comments on air this morning were inappropriate and in no way reflective of Time's views. We have issued a warning to him that such behavior is unacceptable." Because TIME can not associated with such antics.

Because like MSNBC, the people at Time do not want to upset their liberal friends. They can not have the White House mad at them. It is no secret that MSNBC leans as far left as FoxNews leans right.

Really what is all comes down to is that everyone got scared. Like everything in the media this to shall pass. Once somebody says something more important and actually matters then we will forget this and Mark will be back at work.

Are We Ready for The Ladies... Really Are We?

With the current candidacy of Michelle Bachmann for president and the potential for another woman to jump in the race I decided to pose a question.

Are we really ready for a female President of The United States?

I know the knee jerk reaction is yes but I want every one to think about this critically. We are supposed to be this progressive and enlightened nation and yet many other nations have had female presidents and Prime Ministers before the good old USA. In the 2008 election Hilary Clinton came as close we have ever have seen a woman come to seriously going after the big office.

With the election of the first minority president ever we have seen a lot of underlying racist themes against this President. Trust me this country is just as sexiest as it is racist. The criticisms that are lobbed at female politicians can be seen to be sexiest. Look at the way the possible cost of Sarah Palin's wardrobe was scrutinized during the 2008 Presidential campaign. No one ever asked how much John McCain's suits cost.

I honestly believe that we are getting closer. Three of the last four Secretary of State's have been women. Not sure when it will happen but I know we maybe overdue...

A President Can't Make Anybody Happy

When President Barack Obama attempts to please everyone he seems to only tick them all off. It is not unusual for the president to get heavy criticism but not from the people that he is trying to please by his actions. The crazy thing is that he is actually doing what he said he would do during his campaign. Is he doing everything that he said he would do? The answer is no. Is he compromising his position on a lot of these problems? Yes he is but all politicians compromise.

Let's Work That Oil

This week the president decided to release 30 million barrels of oil from the countries strategic oil reserves to help lower the price of crude oil and possibly ease some pain at the pump. In conjunction with the IEA who also will put up about 30 million barrels to drop the demand curve a little. Now I disagreed with the move but I understand it. He was facing pressure from people to do something about the gas prices of which he does not have too much control over.

Bringing Home The Troops

You would think that this would piss off the Republicans but it does not. Democrats wanted troops from Afghanistan and Iraq to come home. But no its the Democrats that are saying he is not bringing home enough troops. According to Nancy "kill my own" Pelosi the American people want more. Did you ask the people Nancy? I think that its safe to say that he has brought home more troops than John McCain would have. Here is a little lesson on war and occupation. You can not just pull out of a country that you are occupying if you have not stabilized it. It only throws away the work that has been done. War is way too complicated and requires a lot of strategy and planning to be just thrown away.

The Weiner Just Couldn't Keep It Up

New York Representative has officially resigned from his seat in congress. After immense pressure from his own party leadership the lawmaker decided to call it quits. This entire handling of this fiasco makes me glad I am not a Democrat and also shows why I am not a Democrat. I am not fan of Republicans either but for much different reasons. At the end of the day the scandal is now over, the Democrats are happy and Republicans are laughing at them.

1. Democrats have no backbone - Anthony Weiner is a prime example of a spineless Dem that breaks under pressure. Everyone that was trying to pressure him to resign had no power to make him do so. The most important people to the congressman are the people who vote for him. Weiner could not hold out and his colleagues knew this. Democrats tend to fold on things regardless of the issue. Even when they are right on a policy or social issue they will cave to pressure. I may not be the biggest fan of Republicans but they ride whatever they are on until the end. Even if they are wrong they will be wrong 100% and not waver.

2. They Eat Their Own - Just like in the Rod Blagovich case the Democrats ate their own party member alive in front of the nation. There was no major pressure coming from the Republican party to force Weiner to resign. It may get mention by a member of the RNC or some low level GOP member. The Democrats broke out their biggest guns to take out one of their own members. Not only one of their own but a good congressmen who stood strong on party issues. Nancy Pelosi has to be the biggest Weiner hater. The House Minority Leader decided that this small scale scandal. A congressman with a wayward camera made the President of the United States have to respond and also calling for the man to resign.
Fellow NY congressman Charlie Rangel is still serving in congress despite being found guilty of ethics violations. He is there because his constituents elected him not pushed out by his fellow lawmakers. It would be helpful to have a man in a congressional seat that was likely to win and vote your way when you need something passed. All you people had to say was "The man made a mistake but we hope he can work through and get back to serving his constituents. Its an unfortunate situation that we hope he can learn from". That was not hard because I just made it up off the top of my head. The Democrats found it easier to assassinate a fellow party member.

Damn It Herman!

I have been watching the rise of Herman Cain as a potential Republican candidate as president of the United States and his campaign finds a new way to piss me off everyday. It upsets me because I am assuming that Mr. Cain is actually running in this election to try to be president and not just increase his own profile.

That latest thing that has me up in arms with good old Herman is his statement that President Obama "was raised in Kenya" and that's why "he's out of the mainstream,". Are we really trying to play that game sir? First of all the President was not raised in Kenya and did not live there at any point in his life. After being confronted with this fact, Cain just moved on to saying that Obama's Kenyan father influenced his outlook, as had his education.
"Barack Obama is more of an international. I think he's out of the mainstream and always has been. Look, he was raised in Kenya, his mother was white from Kansas and her family had an influence on him, it's true, but his dad was Kenyan, and when he was going to school he got a lot of fellowships, scholarships, he stayed in the academic environment for a long time. He spent most of his career as an intellectual."
Which whether its true or false because it is meaningless of who his influences are it only matters what he does and the results. Also Herman is Ivy League education shouldn't matter since most national politicians share a similar educational background. Not to mention don't we want the brightest and the best running the country. Who gives a damn that his father was Kenyan? Unless you are racist or believe that foreigners are crazy anarchist who want to destroy America. But hey good old boy Herman is playing to that Tea Party base that may frown upon the president's Kenyan father.

What Mr Cain is doing is playing game of black man saying something crazy about Obama to get more press. The media lately has been obsessed with black people who want to say anything about President Obama that stirs up controversy. Maybe even Tavis Smiley and Cornel West will get on the Herman Cain train.

Herman then goes on to play the "I'm a real black man card" when he says that "Most of the ancestors that I can trace were born here in the United States of America,". He then even goes into "And then it goes back to slavery. And I'm sure my ancestors go all the way back to Africa, but I feel more of an affinity for America than I do for Africa. I'm a black man in America." Being that the president actually grew with the white side of his family, I am pretty sure he got a real dose of what it is to be a black man in America. I am sure that the president feels the same way about himself. He is not playing race but nationality politics and that is stupid. Just campaign on the issues. Then he goes on to say,
"This isn’t why I’m running, but my candidacy would take race off the table. Right now, every time someone criticizes Barack Obama, they try to play the race card, the White House, all his supporters, they try to play the race card."

Well nationality politics and race politics are similar enough, Herman. Also I am pretty sure that race was not a big deal in the 2008 campaign. I am pretty sure that 61% of the white population who happen to make up the majority of the electorate, voted for the black candidate. How you play the issues card Mr. Cain? Can you do that for us? Talk about your Fair Tax idea or something. Trying this angle will not get you many voters.

Life of The Political Party

Most people I talk to think that we only have two political choices in this country. They believe you are either a Democrat or Republican. Trust me people that is what they want you to believe. There are an unlimited amount of political parties out there to choose from. Even if you do not like the choices that you find, then start your own organization. If you have any doubt about raising your own organic movement just look at the Tea Party. Now I do have my misgivings about the Tea Party but they are a truly American movement of citizens not happy with the current state of politics as they see them.

The important thing in politics is to have an informed opinion. Whatever your views are there is usually a candidate out there that shares your ideals. Will you agree on everything? Of course you won't. You do not agree with everything anybody else does in your personal life but with your friends and family you compromise and move forward. Just apply that to politics.

Crazy people all around- 96 yr confesses to Murder

The World's Most Pampered Pooch Dies

So one of the richest dogs in the world has passed away. The little white Maltese named Trouble died at the age of 12 in Sarasota,FL. Trouble was the dog of New York hotel heiress Leona Helmsley. He reached international fame after the death of Helmsley in 2007 where she left 12 million dollars to her pooch instead of family members.

Helmsley was know as the "Queen of Mean" and served 18 months in federal prison on tax evasion charges in the early 1990s. Her quote was that "only little people pay taxes". But she had some love for her dog whom she purchased after the death of her husband. Well maybe she had love for the doggie or she just wanted to piss some more people off.

After 65 years it was time to Come Clean

After 65 years a murder has been solved. Not by great police work but due to confession of the killer. The 1946 murder of Felix Gulje, the head of a construction company who at the time was being considered for a high political post. It was a controversial event in the Netherlands and the failure to find his killer cause issue with politics in the country.

The woman killed the man because she mistakenly believed that Felix was collaborating with the Nazi's. Identified as Atie Ridder-Visser says that on March 1st, 1946 she went to Gulje's home in Leiden and shot him in the chest.

I don't know if this is an end of life confession or it was really weighing on her. I would not advise for anyone else out there especially here in the United States where they may still try to put you in jail. You know confessing to the higher power that you believe in is usually sufficient enough to take care of the end of life stuff.

Tracy Morgan says something Stupid But Whats New?

Stand up comic and 30 Rock cast member Tracy Morgan has pissed some people off. Apparently the former "hustle man" from Martin decided to offend the LGBT community. While Mr. Morgan was performing in Nashville, TN he stated that he would "pull out a knife and stab" his son for being gay. Now by a few accounts his entire set was full of homophobic slurs.

I am not going to go too hard on Tracy Morgan and try to go after his job. He is a clown that always says stupid things. I understand GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) launching their investigation and going to NBC offices to raise hell. They don't really give a damn what Morgan thinks either but they are trying to drum up publicity for gay issues. But lets be serious here no one's view on homosexuality is influenced by Tracy Morgan. If it is then we need a much larger intervention for you.

Creflo Goes Hard Eddie Long

Just when I thought I was done talking Eddie Long craziness the great Creflo Dollar came to ride to his defense. Not saying whether the bishop was guilty or innocent but addressing the parishioners who left New Birth. This is one of the most self righteous things that I have ever heard from a pastor. Especially one who shares the name of a pimp. In his words "You are leaving the pastor because he had a wreck".

You can not sit there criticize people for leaving a church that they feel the leadership is not sufficient. In the same token I can not critique people for staying at the church because they believe in their pastor. Its not anybody's place to tell somebody how they should worship God. If you were clapping for this presentation by the Dollar man then I am going to say that you are an idiot.

Creflo even says "let me have wreck, I'm get in your face". Yeah you do that and see how that works. He even has the balls to even say that your wrecks are bigger than his. Excuse me, sir? You know nothing about my wrecks and only God can judge the severity of a spiritual wreck. He even says that "if he has a wreck he will go to heaven but you might mess something up by how you treat me". Hold on pastor that is some bull. I taking the independent mind that God himself gave me to leave a situation that I am not comfortable with will not keep me out of heaven. No person breathing or dead can make me believe that garbage.

His statement of the preacher "having a wreck" implies that he himself believe that there was some wrong doing done here. A wreck is a man that steals money from work or a man that shot someone after a fight.

Eddie Long is accused of seducing young boys that he was intrusted with to lead into manhood. Violating their trust as their spiritual father and damaging them for life. That is a lot more than a wreck Creflo! Not only did he damage these young man but if true that means that he cheated on his wife repeatedly. This is not just the pastor writing bad checks but this is totally taking advantage of the church's trust in you as a leader.

So This Bishop Didn't Throw Any Rocks

So the mighty bishop of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church has decided to settle out of court with his accusers. If you have been living on Mars for a year or so you may not know that Bishop Eddie Long has been accused by 4 young men that he once mentored of having inappropriate sexual relationships with them. When the accusations first broke the pastor stated that he was innocent and he would fight these charges. In Eddie's words " I got 5 rocks and I haven't thrown one yet". I guess he kept them all in his pocket.

I am not saying this means that he is guilty but it damn sure looks funny. This is troubling because it makes me say that either he did it or he doesn't believe what he is preaching. If you are truly innocent and believe that God will show the world that you are innocent then you have to follow through. Settling out of court appears as an admission of guilt.

The Franchise Is Still Growing

Strange enough the New Birth franchise is steadily expanding. In a press release the church has announced that it is opening a satellite location in Birmingham, Al. Just last week they announced a new church opening in Denver, CO. Apparently churches are like Popeyes and can be franchised out. That is not as shocking as that there is a demand for more followers who may not practice what he preaches. Not every man of god is a godly man...
